Ripped by the Ribbon: Finding the Apply Template option in Word

So Im finding myself frequently fighting the damn Office Ribbon trying to find a feature in one of the Office apps. My quest today: Apply a template to an open document in Word. Where the hell is that option buried?   Page Layout looks like a good guess. But natch theres no templates option. Theres something called Themes, but its disabled. Ive never seen it enabled in any Word document. Styles is where this used to be buried, but nowhere do I see an option to change the existing template.The...
