ASP.NET 2.0 Project Deployment Tool is here

Microsoft has released the Visual Studio Web Deployment Projects that I’ve mentioned several times here in the last couple of months (tool info and some of the issues: here and here) . Well, it’s here and it looks impressive in that it addresses the core set of deployment issues.   Because I’m traveling I haven’t had a lot of time to look at it closely and try it out on my live site, but from setting up the deploy project and building in a few configurations it looks...
