What books to read?

Every now and then I get asked what are the best books (in my opinion) on certain technologies.  Below I have picked out what I believe to be the best book on Windows, C# and ASP.NET.

• Expert ASP.NET 2.0 Advanced Application Design
• Developing ASP.NET Server Controls and Components
• CLR Via C# (both 1st and 2nd editions are great)
• Microsoft Windows Internals (4th editions)
• Framework Design Guidelines: Conventions, Idioms, and Patterns for Reusable .NET Libraries

Here are a few books that I really liked as well (although not quite as good in my opinion).

• Programming Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 Applications: Advanced Topics
• Essential C# 2.0
