Performance Quiz #14: Memory Locality, x64 vs. x86, Alignment, and Density

   It's been a very long time since I did a performance quiz and so it's only right that this one covers a lot of ground.  Before I take even one step forward I want you to know that I will be basing my conclusions on: A lot of personal experience A micro-benchmark that I made to illustrate it Nobody should be confused, it would be possible to get other results, especially because this is a micro-benchmark.  However these results do line up pretty nicely with my own experience...
