&lt;p&gt;The only thing that you should know about 3.5 is that you will need the AjaxDataControls.dll that were compiled against 3.5 - You can get them from http://codeplex.com/ajaxdatacontrols. Since ASP.NET Ajax is already part of 3.5, you will not need to include it again. Check out this blog post of mine:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Is there anything to be aware of if I have a 2005 ASP.Net 2.0 project using the ADC controls and then need to upgrade to 2008 / asp.net 3.5 later down the line?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do I need to use IIS to use these controls?&lt;/p&gt;
