I have used version 1.2.61025 (July 2007) with my asp.net 2.0 project.

The only thing that you should know about 3.5 is that you will need the AjaxDataControls.dll that were compiled against 3.5 - You can get them from http://codeplex.com/ajaxdatacontrols. Since ASP.NET Ajax is already part of 3.5, you will not need to include it again. Check out this blog post of mine:

Hi,

What version of ASP.Net Futures do I need to download and use with Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.Net 2.0?

Is there anything to be aware of if I have a 2005 ASP.Net 2.0 project using the ADC controls and then need to upgrade to 2008 / asp.net 3.5 later down the line?

Do I need to use IIS to use these controls?
