About Brian Mains
This blog will discuss .NET, both in the realm of web and windows development. I am an enterprise application developer with over five years of experience, and I like to write about .NET, experimenting with new features, which I also get a lot of experience with the complex projects at work. I also like to write about the problems I have, so that maybe I can help someone else avoid the pitfalls I did in my projects.
I am married and with one child as of now, as well as two dogs. In my free time, I like to code, but I try to keep it to a minimal, being that I do it 8 hours a day ;). I like to write blog entries and articles, as well as works of fiction.
I also like working with my hands, doing things like working on cars and homes. I volunteer my time with Habitat for Humanity and other organizations. I'm a Christian and I'm active in my church as well.
I also get involved in martial arts, taking some classes in Brazilian Ju Jitsu now, which I was always somewhat involved in martial arts for about 5 total years.
