Yesterday on the launch event of Visual Studio .NET 2005 and SQL Server 2005 in Karlsruhe/Germany we had the idea to create a usergroup/community here in Germany for all Web 2.0 and AJAX developers. The idea is to create web sample applications that will help us to create AJAX and Web 2.0 web sites. We will go in deep details for current frameworks like Ajax.NET Professional, ComfortASP, MagicAjax and, of course, Microsoft Atlas, see the pro and contras for each lib. Also we will have a look on existing prototype JavaScript libs that will offer Web 2.0 effects and methods.
Results of such meetings will be available as download and LiveMeetings (Webcasts) including chat session.
